Addtionally the line-up in Lollipop was decent and there seemed to be a few good time ladies in the mix as well. And the line-up in the Mandarin Table Dance bar was crap, and the atmosphere just as bad. Did not bother going upstairs to the Mandarin bar.

Stopped by Lollipop after (mis) reading a review in GDiary magazine. If you like LBs and 29 y/o BG's trying to pass for 19 by wearing silly Japanese cosplay uniforms, this place may be for you. From what I observed, the only looker in the house was pulling valet duty in the lavatory. I finished my drink and left.

This thread could serve as a measure of how far this forum has fallen. I searched for Spanky's in Nana Plaza, a really happening bar now, and came up with this useless thread.
So here's a bump. Spanky's owner is trying to create a small bit of Pattaya in Bangkok, complete with smokers' rights and foam whips. The crew of topless dancers is already pretty spectacular, and improving. Spanky's is a much-needed breath of de-Purachaied air in the Plaz. Some other bars are loosening up with the restrictions on showing, and the Plaz is showing some life. All this will be increasingly great, I hope.
Still, my mate was soon driven out of Spanky's by all the reeking cigarette smoke in the air, and I had to reluctantly leave because of the strobe spotlight that was searing my eyeballs whenever I tried to watch the dancers or showgirls.
We would have liked to buy some drinks and maybe BF a lovely lady, but the Spanky's atmosphere was just too hard for us non-smoking 55-year-olds to take.

A couple of months ago, I brought my ex-colleague from San Francisco to this bar with his wife. This was the only go-go bar that they would explore that night as they were totally exhausted from all the day time activities. My friend's wife had a great time whipping the girls with those foam whips. What really surprised me was when she started kissing one of girl who sat in between the two of them, and the girl was fondling my friend as well. After that short half hour visit, she told me that she had kissed 5 girls in there. We did not experience the cigarette smoke, as we were the only customers there at that time. Perhaps it helps to be there early, like 8:30-9:00 pm.

Note to the Manager: Please direct your waitstaff to immediately cease checking/shaking my beer ever 2 minutes to see if I am done and need another. Extremely annoying, distracting and disrespectful, I'm old enough to be able to order a new one by myself when I am done!

Tyler, I always turn the tables on pushy waitresses and such in places like gogo bars, Climax disco etc. with making fun of them with a clear "Nope!" along with a big You-asshole-grin even if the bottle is really empty......and I even enjoy calling them seconds later to order another bottle if I feel like it...
