I have been booked by my company for a four day holiday in Hua Hin. I am not too much of a beach person. So aprat from the beach, what else can be done in Hua Hin? I did search on the net but could not come to any decent conclusions.

The beaches are kinda "blah".
Unless you like shopping at optical stores (there's plenty of Charoen Opticals there), the best bet would be some sightseeing - otherwise, you can do the same you can do in Pattaya - bars, beers, girls, boring.

Thanks, guys for all your inputs. I guess I have a clue now on what to do.
I cannot back out of the trip. But, as I shall be in Bangkok for a three day business seminar before going to Hua Hin, I'll find someone who can accompany me to Hua Hin. I am sure that will help reduce some of the boredom !

A report on my visit to Hua Hin.
Instead of four days, my trip was shortened to two days. From whatever I learnt from the forum, I had a girl from Bangkok accompany me there. In fact, she was with me for four days.
I reached Bangkok early morning at 7 AM, bought a Thai SIM card at the airport and found the girl waiting for me at the Airport. We took a taxi to Hua Hin. I enjoyed the very comfortable ride as I took in the countryside, while the girl nestled against me.
I had booked the Citin Loft Hotel, a nice little place not very far from the beach as well as the famous Railway Station. After refreshing ourselves in the room, we went for a stroll in the town.
It is a quaint place, a quiet one to relax. Nobody seems to be in a rush. We walked for a good distance and took in the sights. As I was tired after a long plane trip and the nearly two hours it took to reach the place, we decided to tuck in early.
After an eventful night, we spent the next day on the beach. It is clean, big and even with lots of people present, does not seem crowded. There were lots of groups sunbathing (some topless!) and others generally walking around. We got ourselves a couple of deck chairs and watched the world go by. Time flies when you are doing nothing but gaze at the ocean.
One thing about the beach is that there are enough joints to serve you anything under the sun. So, you can eat and drink without even getting up from your deck chair. And it was cheap.
All in all, an enjoyable holiday. I had the best of both worlds: a relaxed time and a girl always present to service you in whatever way you want (nothing kinky, though!)
But I must dare say, anything beyond two or three days would be a drag. The town is too sleepy!

Sorry,I am late to answer your question. As a matter of fact,if you read Ghatotkach's post, it says similar to what I did.
It is better to bring your own girl from Bangkok, since there is hardly any place you can find them. Hua Hin is basically a very relaxed place, if you need a quiet and more romantic way, this is the place. I stayed twice at Rajdamaren resort, which is very closed to city centre, next to Marriott. There are many restaurant of your choice, you can find nearby places. Couple of massage parlours for relaxing are available next to this resort. Other resorts have Golf courses, if you are a Golfer, Hua Hin is your best choice. Let me know what else you need to know....
