I always bring my own to Hua Hin.
Use The Hilton as a landmark, any of the streets that end in the front of the Hilton property will take you to the P4P bars. Just walk away from the Hilton on these streets. If you run into the temple go back a block. I've never seen anything good in the Bars though.
I like Hua Hin because it's laid back, I always get a beach front suite (Hilton), Hilton has free breaky every day that is like Sunday brunch, nice wined down from BKK/Pattaya, and European influence. To enjoy Hua Hin you must bring your tilac.
I guess I f***ed up! Anyway Hua Hin won't be everybodies cup of tea! If you just want to whore by the beach, you belong in Pattaya or Phuket.

I will be staying for 4 nights at the Hyatt in Hua Hin as my Hyatt Goldpassport Award. It is already a second time I use this stay as a nice break between two Bangkok invasions. So like 3+4+3. It is a real relax place and the last time we went out for hunting only once during 5 days stay. Therefore no reasons at all for me to use Hilton as what would I leave Sheraton Sukh for?

I will be arriving BKK around midnight in 12/7. Wondering if I can catch a taxi to hua hin that late or should I ( stay in BKK and travel down the next day? It would put me ito Hua hin close to 3 am. Any experiences?

Better to stay in BKK for the night, you'll have more fun.
If you try to go to HH late at night you will miss out on a night of sanuk, you will pay too mut for taxi and you may have a hassle getting a room at 3am.

Had a few days recuperating in HH last year. Found plenty of bars - nothing special - but with the odd diamond as an earlier post indicated. Met a cutie BG in the aforementioned Soi with whom I spent a few days of fun on the beach, in bed, eating and drinking. All in all, laid back, good GFE and very reasonable on the wallet. Given the opportunity to repeat the experience I would not hesitate.
Give us an upadate...

HH is a great place to be laid back and enjoy a real nice Thai town, there are plenty enough girls but not hardcore mongering, no holes barred like BKK or Pty.
