So I will be in BKK for 3 nights in November. A Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and most of the day on Saturday.
Apart from office hours, and a small dose of sightseeing and shopping (just to allay the suspicions of those at home) I intend to spend the rest of my trip enjoying what BKK is known for!
So, what do you recommend? I am staying near Emporium, so I guess Soi Cowboy is the nearest place to head, but which bars should I visit?

I generally prefer Nana. But on this trip, I find Nana’s selection (in bars and in parking lot) to be in a sad state. Even some of the freelancers opposite to Landmark and in Thermae were better than the Nana Parking lot selections. Rainbows were not what it used to be. Only good looking ones were the ladyboys, strategically cock-blocking at all of the main areas. One other annoying thing with Nana area on this trip, I noticed there are lots of boogly African-American freelancers floating up and down Suk Rd. At first, I rated them a 2 because they at least have T&As. But after they continuously harassed me when I was walking by, I now grade them -20. Thermae was a surprise. Very good selections but I was stunned by the standard asking price. 2000 Baht for ST. They were not getting many offers but they were insistent on the price. I was pretty impress with the selections in Sharks and Barraca in Cowboy as well. My timing of girl selection was not good during the few times I was there, so I did not bf anyone here or at Nana.

Apologies if I didn't make my particular question too clear.
I have read lots of the previous posts, and found them really interesting. What I was looking for guidance on was whether there are paarticular bars in Soi Cowboy more suited to a newbie.
I'm guessing I want somewhere a bit more relaxed first, where I can observe and have a beer, followed by somewhere I will be fully immersed in the ways of BKK;-)
Incidentally, i'm a newbie to BKK, but have experience of the UK punting and party scene, so i'm not looking to end the night alone! 1 girl is the minumum!
