fair enough, I've had my share of disappointing encounters too, and typically have done what you just described, gave her the benefit of the doubt. In most of those cases, the encounter was substandard, and I picked a different lady the next time. In other cases, I never went back to the establishment. If the lady has a rotten attititude, I will push back, but usually I just blow it off and chalk it up to experience in the P4P field of study, lol.
I know other punters have said they've gone back to ladies that were a little cold on their first encounters, and have built decent P4P rapport with them, but I don't have the patience for that. Everyone can have an off day once in a while, but I've never gone back to a lady I didn't hit it off with from the get go.

I've never be to Nataree Massage in all my years here. This maybe a huge oversight on my part, since it sounds like a great place to go.
But what drunkentiger and Ballsburstin have described can be avoided in a lot of places by a simple request,
which I know to be completely acceptable in such establishments as Chao Paya 2 on Sri Ayuthaya and its sister establishment Chao Paya 3 and others.
Firstly, you've got to make your entrance suitable for this, by trying to lower the levels of teresterone flooding every part of your body. Quite a hard thing to do on entering a soapy and looking at the girls, especially if you are young or suffering from a prolonged period of sexual abstinence, which falls within the range of between 2 hours and two days depending on the guy. (However, if you are not a resident of Thailand, maybe the top of the range for some unfortunate visitors only just released from the West, might mean two to five years.)
Make yourself sit down and order a leisurely beer.
Take your time in looking at the girls on offer. The time taken on this is crucial. Look at how they are waiting for custom, how they spend their time, their interaction with the other ladies,how they sit and their facial expressions. ( Field glasses in some places are essential for this.)
Mentally choose three or four girls and write down their
numbers on a piece of paper. Look at the mamasans or papasans, and see how they are with the customers.
Choose one to call over to you, and tip them immediately, with 100 baht, as if for starters and ask them if you can have a minute talking with your first choice of girl and try to explain that maybe you would like to chat for a short time with others also, to make your final decision.
You may want to ask to see all four girls at once, but I think that you would get a better idea of compatability and what you want, if you just interact with each one separately.
Make your choice or choices and go for it. As you leave,you can decide to give the papasan a further tip of 100 baht just to secure his memory of you,for next time.
Or,if you find nothing to your liking and wish to preserve the ability to choose like that for another occasion, tip the papasan a 100 baht again and leave. No harm done. It works for me and places the blame more so on my shoulders if things don't work out the way I intended.
Don't limit nor begin your conversation to asking about how she would fulfil your sexual requirements. She is not a freelancer. The lady operates in a certain defined structure of employment and provides a definite service.
Ballsburstin's point of addressing the lady with issues about their individual circumstances is a very important and valuable point,as it gives the lady an opportunity for her to talk about things that really matter to her and an opportunity for you to see another side of her, besides the physical and the verbal responses associated with her service provision.
Needless to say, a knowledge of Thai in these circumstances is important. Without it, you would either have to rely on the girl's knowledge of English or the translating abilities of the papasan or a friend.
Quite a number of brothers on this forum who have an ability to understand and speak Thai seem to be willing to accompany newbies on a first visit. So, if you are on yours, why not ask them, or even just one of them, if they are willing to accompany you. I have never done this, but I am sure it would help.

Joe Wood, as a talkative customer, would do well to stop into Nataree. You will immediately be struck by the conversational possibilities all around you, not stuck in the fishbowl. Nataree when full of girls, as it often is, can be eye-boggling.

If there is a better sexy, farang-friendly massage parlor in Bkk. than Nataree, I'd like to see it. When I entered, 8:30 pm. on a Sunday, and sat down, the waitress took my order and the papasans stayed away. I like how in Nataree the girls are sitting all over the place. Sitting in a booth right behind the row of sideline girls who face the fishbowl, I had some great viewing! I also very much appreciated the non-smoking atmosphere in the girl selection area. What a bunch of babes work the sidelines! Finally finished eating, strolled the sideline, chose one of four friends smiling a lot at me. 2200 to pay, then up to the Nataree room of very weak water with very little heat. Nit was great for the first 45 minutes. She was fun in the tepid water, and proved a most adept lover once I got seated on the couch and she could do her thing on me. Once I started feeling her up, as she was standing while I was seated, I was so happy with her body that it took me a while to notice she was kind of clutching and rubbing her abdomen, not letting my hands near it. When we hit the bed, she stayed in a knees-up position, unwilling to just lie down flat on her back. Hmmm, never had that problem before.... So I moved back to the couch, where she had just been very sexy. Yes, the couch magic returned, and we proceeded to f*** a long time, in lap dance position and standing doggy style. She then proved to be pretty adept at the light stroking, which I like much better than an unskilled Thai massage, for the last 20 minutes. Tipped her 300, which might have been a tad generous, considering the problem on the bed.. What a bunch of babes work the sidelines at Nataree!

Went to nataree this week.
(tuesday in fact)
around 3pm.
Fishbowl almost empty (8-9 ladies)
but around 20 sideliners and a great choice
Been to poseidon a few times recently and I must say that the sideliners are far better in nataree.
Went again at around 6pm and there were around 30 sidelines and 20 fishbowl

But again this place has the worst rooms in Thailand. They obviously have no plan to renovate it. Also you rarely have girls here to do BBBJ here, in my past expereinces maybe over 10 visits I do not remember anyone perform BBBJ.

Yeah, the rooms are fairly dated. Not quite as old as the CP2 rooms, but indeed old. Have yet not to get a bbbj at Nataree, it depends on the girl and of course how you guys hit it off.

Yep of course the rooms are far outdated.
But as long as I do not have worms or cockroaches in it then it is ok for me.
I have been really stunned by the number of sideliners and the quality.

Will not go to poseidon or any other as long as I am satisfied by nataree's sideliners.
By the way, they have no problems with farangs customers, papasans very helpful and not pushy.

checked out Nataree before heading out this past weekend with a friend of mine. never been here, read a lot on it, as well as talked to some office-workers of mine.
originally we planned on hitting Colonze 2 at Soi 7; but we found out they had their big meeting of the month at 4pm and the almost all the girls booked out at 5pm... (got there at 6)... stayed around for a bit though and made some mental notes... but most of the girls coming back down to the lounge were ones that need not be booked.
took a quick taxi over to Nataree, now I have to say, walking into the place during rush hour is not the best thing, for me at least, with buses and cars within viewing distance of those entering. at least at most places they have a wall or elevated area to enter.
as we entered, I have to admit I was shocked to see so many eager faces, 2 sitting on stools, then a long couch with about 8 girls, could tell from the lighting that the bowl was directly behind me. Papasan told us the prices, ranged from 2200 - 2500. took a step back and to the right, saw another couch full about 10 girls, (we thought wow, more selection) at that point we turned around and looked at the bowl, have to say, they were rather aged in my opinion, but noticed another long snake-like couch facing the bowl, with another 10-12 girls....
I have to admit that yes, there are a lot of girls, the setting isnt the nicest, a lounge would be more appropriate, but then again "why are we here?". papasans were not pushy, always nice. lighting was a bit dim, always harder to make the choices, but we had 2 of the couches stand up and turn around for us so we could get the full 360 before selecting.
I will admit they had a lot of girls, but the quality was medicore IMHO. but for the price, one could look the other way. price here resembles the gold star and other girls a level inbetween bowl and sideline. not bad for the price... but I normally go for sideliners,
we picked our girls, went on up... this is pretty funny, we stop on every floor, where the girls yell out to the housemaids, if there is a room available or not. see the slip'n'slide mattresses dotting the hallway, get into the rooms, decorated somewhat aging two-tone green. room isnt big, but adequate, noisy a/c and a rather small bed.
go for the normal, talk, order drink, wait, change, wait for basket, talk, wait for tub to fill, talk... some fun in the tub (too many bubbles) move to the bed. girl has no K-Y or anything, try anyways, finish with bj and a tossed salad.
tipped 300 baht. talked a bit, after. asked about the place and stuff. it appears that they have suite rooms (if you can call them that) costs 400 baht more, 3 rooms -- that are identical to the normal rooms, no common area with no big jacuzzi or big tv w/karaoke.
final thoughts... YMMV
