Nah, they would never get up to bad behaviour like that. Actually the French Bakery that MN talks about is pretty good. Landmark also has a good Bakery as do many of the better Hotels!

Abrak, I do not know MN, but what I said in that thread about UKMod is true. MN has been on his case for a while, but I stayed away, as I said out of pity for the guy. But he is free to be an ass, and he seems to like it. And I got tired of his stupid jabs at me. But what does this have to do with the croissant thing?

Just had lunch at La Boulange. Very good place. Better than Folies in many aspects..... certainly a much better view  ..... but one thing I still like more at Folies are the croissants.
La Boulange is a more complete establishment with more variety in the menu. You have some good solid selections that would do for a good meal. Very good sandwiches. I had an excellent chicken sandwich. I didn't try the pastries or bakery items besides the croissant which I wanted to compare. And though very good, I like more those from Folies.
La Boulange has some items priced a la Sukhumvit-for-farangs. But many others are well priced.

La Boulange Soi Convent is indeed a very nice place.
I try to pay them a visit every Sunday late morning.
The "Croque Madame" is a must........ Yummy
One of the very few places you can get "Soft Boiled Eggs"
Coffee is crap but would be the same anywhere else.
By the way, Smegma, what is it about the view ? The only thing you can watch is young gay guys in tight short and tanktops going to California.....
No wonder you are staring at me with that CFM look......
