During the last months whilst feeding them hungry pussies by intervals though repeatingly and convincingly miaowed. I do NOT give a f*** whether or not u real bros go to BOBBY ARMS or NORIEGA or uuuuupp uuuurs smelly fishy OLD DUTCHIE or any other wateringhole. In Pattaya, try Rosie O' Gradys on Soi 7. A large Norwegian cod fillet, batter very thin and crispy. Chips not too greasy, and peas. Tarter sauce was not very good, so used the malt vinegar. Excellent lunch for 200 I think, especially when complimented with a pint of Guinness draft for an additional 160. The bartender even etched a shamrock into the head, using the last trickle of stout from the spout. I was so impressed with his artistry that I had four pints, and left feeling no pain.

I'll try that next Tues RR, stop on by if you're around, I'll wear my Montecristo Cigars cap for ID. Tried Shananagans last Tuesday, very good breakfast sausages, full breakfast was 150. Ordered a Coke for the second half, suprised they charged 70 for a can. Should have went with the Bloody Mary.
Lewinsky's on Soi Pattayaland 2 also worth a look for football breakfast either Monday or Tuesday morning.
Opps, sorry for the TFing. Haven't tried the fish n chips either place. I'm sure the Brit Bros are very interested in American football.  So, Greg's Kitchen on Soi 5. Two fillets, but small, probably no more fish than Rosie's. Tarter sauce better, but fish not as good, IMHO. Still, Greg serves some excellent desserts, try the rasberry tart before looking for your Soi 8 tart.

The problem with chips in Thailand they are very similar to those awful yuk ones you get at McDonalds.
I was thinking some time ago that a really good English F&C shop (restaurant) would go down well and was considering what problems there would be.
The main thing is to get the chips right, fun could be had by substituting with local fish as long as you could get the batter right, really crispy & golden brown.
As for the chips you would need the right potatoes to start with then you would need to store them in a cool place, it would be nice to have an authentic chip shop fryer, & right fat to cook in etc.
Maybe better to see if you could get a franchise to open a Harry Ramsden’s…

Well since our intrepid swiss friend could only speculate on Fish & Chips in Thailand I decided to go to Old Dutch tonight for a meal. When the food finally arrived it was very adequate. at 125 baht very very reasonable. Walking along the sidewalk back toward Sukhumvit I noticed - a) Offshore Bar - Closed. The Ship - open. Walking a little further some enterprising individual has opened a hole in the wall 'Fish & Chips" shop. Guess I will give that a try next time.
Speaking for myself I think McDonalds serves very good french fries.
Please feel free to ridicule me. After dinner nailed the free lance hooker at Soi 5. Her mobile has been broken.
