I have to agree with Skip - Vertigo is a cut above for drinks (Daiquiris esp), however, when I ate there (I had steak) it was terrible, really terrible and not cheap either. The food is better at State Tower but I personally don't like the atmosphere there.

Vertigo's food... A french mate told me how much better is the food there than in Sirroco so as I find the second a decent place took my GF out to Vertigo last night... Pretty much a rip off IMO... Went half bersek when they brought over a glass of sparkling wine in a 4000++ baht menu but guess I should have read the card more closely beforehand. " In my country that's a drink for truck drivers !!' Waiter brought over a glass of Moet presto and I calmed down a bit but altogether far from happy. Very small portions except for the main course and nothing particulary good to say about any of the dishes. I'll stick to Sirocco...

Around 3000 bath per head + drinks (around 350 bath for a cocktail).
Nice place to drink only as well, I particulary like the couch area when it's not too windy
