I think KUPPA is pretty good... all day breakfast in fact.
coffee is excellent....
Not as greasy as say Waffle House. or IHOP or even Huddle House.

Anybody been to a place in Marblehead Mass. called The Driftwood? It is a little greasy spoon that has the best breakfasts ever. Corned beef hash, poached eggs, waffles, fried dough, pancakes, grits... It is the only place that I will never miss breakfast. It does not matter how hung over I am, I am going to make it. Luckilly I am rarely visiting Marblehead.
In LOS I try to stick with fruit for breakfast. It is the only place I have been where I can eat 3 solid meals a day, drink lots of beer and lose weight. Thank god I have not found a driftwood type of place.

Soi 22 is the best area for an American Breakfast with American sausage. Silver Dollar, Texas Lone Star, Bourbon Street & Moonshine all serve them.
You can buy American sausage in Villa. Jim's Country Sausage. 130 baht per half kilo pack.

To revive an old thread--For good coffee on the even number side of Suk--I think poss soi 16 or 14--a sidewalk coffee vendor you get a fresh made double expresso--on ice if hot out--my first stop in the AM then on to Beer Garden. They also give you a frequent buyer card for a free one after so many purchaces.
Side story--was waiting for coffee and struck up a conversation with a nice frenchman who ordered after me. Well I paid for my drink a just put the change into my pocket without counting. Was walking toward Nana and the coffee lady came running after me. She made mistake and thought I was with the frenchman and charged me for his coffee. She gave me back the money for her mistake.
Being surprised and happy about her actions I gave her back the money for an addition tip and for her honesty. Now I go back almost every AM and am greeted with a friendly smile a good service. I recommend the place, good to keep nice small businesses like this thriving.

If anyone can post areas in Bangkok that have breakfasts as good as the ones in the hotels for 1/5th the price, I'm all eyes and ears! Why pay 500 baht for a Holiday Inn buffet if it exists for 100 baht.
Oh yes "American Breakfast" used to be "there's more in a middle of an egg McMuffin than an egg in the middle of a muffin". Now it's just 2 eggs and sausages (I'm a bacon eater myself).
And whoever came up with the name "Continental Breakfast". Just the thought is so degrading. Ah, sorry sir, but you have a "Continental Breakfast", while I look at everyone slobbering with all the pancakes and syrup. Ah sir, you can "upgrade" to an American breakfast. No, I just want the pancakes and bacon!
