It was funny at last month's RT, one bro had a serious company he was consulting for in need of a serious website design done for them. Most competent people we too booked to take on the job, however when Dr. Love's name came up as a possible candidate. The requester just shook his head No explaining that he did want to spend the next 12 months arguring over grammer and spelling context.

It is an English expression for very raw steak - when it still has that 'purplish' color. If you want to be pretentious you can use it like this.
"How would you like your steak done sir?"
"I'd like it rare but not blue" you reply
Of course if you use this expression in LOS the waiter will have no idea what you are talking about but I am sure he will nod and smile anyway.

What could have happened in his childhood that made him so compulsive about jumping on every trivial typo of everyone else, on an international forum no less where understanding is the ONLY thing that really matters, yet never able to see the mountains of errors throughout ALL his own stuff?

What is it with everyone jumping on the good doctor? We've all got idiosyncrasies - I certainly am critical of people that can't spell, as well, even though errors sneak into my posts. Overall, he's a fun and enjoyable chap to hang out with.

It is an English expression for very raw steak - when it still has that 'purplish' color. If you want to be pretentious you can use it like this.
The English adapted (translated) the phrase from the French, I believe. "Au bleu" in French restaurant palance means "damn rare", as in just north of steak tartare...

Thanks for the feedback on CONFUSION. Although we are called CONFUSION we try to keep the confusion to a minimum when it comes to the food.
We are in the process of updating the menu so all those little "confusions" are being sorted out. As I said in other posts it takes a good while to get things up to scratch but we'll get there........in the meantime I can still use the name as a decent excuse!

Didn't mean to be critical but in all honesty the food did not reflect what I thought I ordered from the menu. My friend also had the same conclusion.
I hope you sort it out... great location as a prelim to Cowboy!
