Ate there yesterday, I should have known better. Last time for me, that's for sure. Drinks are good, but agree that the food sucks and is grossly overpriced. Cesar salad and seafood skewers we're definitely a miss. They put some gravy on the skewers, I guess just to give them some taste. Check bin was about 500, including a zombie cocktail (which was quite tasty). Could kick myself for being too lazy to venture over to Auberge Dab for their luncheon special and get a great meal, for an extra couple hundred baht or so. With so many fine eating options available in the city, makes no sense to scarf at GT.
Interestingly, there were 4 Boys in Brown hanging out at a table in the corner. Wouldn't have expected to see these guys in there, but they we're only drinking. Wise decision.

what is auberge tab?
I really have begun to hate GT. I have never seen so many servers and had such a hard time getting a drink. the food sucks and is overpriced. The free Internet works 50% of the time, If you don't specifically ask for happy hour drinks during happy hour, they give you the most expensive brands of liquor.

I'm planning on going to GT's Pattaya for dinner this week-end, I'll give you all a report on the quality of food in the Pattaya section of the forum, unless someone else has gone to GT's Pattaya and have ordered food off the menu and may be able to give us a report now.

Best food in Pattaya is along soi 15 past temple (about 100 metres) little seafood/Thai resturant.
Exellent quality, well cooked dishes at 70 a dish, or 100 seafood, has little plastic table and chairs, and a picture of some Jap city in the snow.
Daughters always serving.

Augerge Dab is an excellent French restaurant in the Mercury Tower near the Chit Lom BTS. They have a 3 course lunch special (until 2:30 PM) for 390++, comes out to about 700 with a glass of house wine. Otherwise, ordering ala carte can be quite expensive.
But I shouldn't be dissing GT while I'm here using their free internet.  There's no alcohol today because of the holiday, so the place is deserted. I'm heading over to Soi 7 Biergarden after my 15 minutes is up.

So did I. I had one of their fried rice specials or something like that it was OK. I only dropped in to check out the girls not for the food
