Ok, who has the name of the fancy rooftop restuarant (not the cheesy tall building near Pantip). I was told it was nice, and would like to check it out. Sorry for lack of hints, but I just remember having it pointed out from a distance. Believe it is more in south bangkok. Thanks for the help.

Hallo I didnt know what you are searching but the Banyantree Hotel has a roof restaurant and also a open air roof restaurant. its wonderfull an a lot of good,rich Thai Lady not Thai girls.

The best one is STATE TOWER in the end of SILOM. VERY PRICE but with a view to kill for. Also have a nightclub/bar for posh people with a veranda outside facing the other side. Be sure to book and be sure to call and check it is not raining due to lighting strikes they close the resturant.

I've never tried the State Tower, so I can't compare directly, but I - and the TGs I've had with me - really liked the restaurant at the Banyan Tree. Take a look at their Website, very impressive restaurants there.

I had pretty good experience at Scirocco when it just opened over a year ago. Great view, OK food and wine selection, OK live band and singer, pricy for Bangkok. After dinner, I went indoors to Distil for drinks, and there I met a Thai actress with whom I remain friendly until now. Not bad at all!

there was some star staying at the hotel I was at on Sunday, hotel reception was in joy
TGF just took one look at him and suggested we get the f*** out of there before the crowd comes, LOL
I feel the same way about Thai actresses, total primadonnas, but I'm sure there are exceptions
one of the nicest celebrity fems I have met is Mai Jarernpoora
and Tata Young's father is a pretty normal nice guy, but she was just a teen then

Well I had a TGF that would put most 'actresses" to shame. She could turn on the crocodile tears on complete with belly sobbing at the drop of the hat. She even fooled most Thai's. I think she missed her calling!
I did do a Thai Soap opea bit part player who sidelined in Cupidity. Punk style hairdo and New Wave make-up. f***ed liked a wild monkey. Silly me did not get her number and she dispappear from the MP!
