Hi

I am looking to find a good Sunday Carvery Buffet, I miss my SUnday Roasts :- (. Ideally would like a All your can eat type.

I have tried the Londoner and it was ok. Jools Bar is OK not a buffet but although BIG portions, got impression it came from Frozen and was cooked. I hear Huntsman @ Landmark has one (not tried). Anyone else recommand, don't care about price. Want quality What about the 5star hotels ?

Also I am going to be in Bangkok for XMas. Alhough I have a home here, was thinking of checking into a 5star hotel for xmas eve, xmas day and boxing day. Any hotels that really go all out for xmas ? Thought I would book now.

Thanks

The Londoner is as good as it gets in Bangkok. The Huntsman has a good Sunday buffet, but the roast selection is mediocre.

Pattaya has no shortage of places offering Sunday roasts. Try the Sportsman on Soi 13.

The Londoner as good as it gets???.....ermmm....may I most humbly disagree.....

I found the Huntsman far better, but the best I had was at The Sheraton buffet.

If you are referring to the food in general, there's no argument, but the pitiful collection of cold roast potatoes in a bowl behind the roast beef carvery table and the almost tasteless roast beefat the Huntsman can't compare to what's provided at the Londoner.

Must confess I didn't know the Sheraton did a Sunday roast buffet although roast beef is quite common at hotel buffets.

maybe I get there earlier than you.....they are still warm.......

Not really a roast buffet at the sheraton.....but the buffet includes some very good roasts, and Italian, and Indian, and Japanese, and Chinese, and the finest deserts spread I have ever encountered.

I was off to Soi Cowboy once and just before that was a English pub I think called The Swan. Could be mistaken through.

They served sunday lunchs and it looked good. I was tempted but my mate was in a hurry to the Soi.

The Swan (Mucky Duck) is under the Asok BTS station on the even side. Food is good and reasonablely priced. Not so sure about sunday roast.

I always founf that Chequers and Jools on soi 4 the best for sunday, anyday, lunch.
