What? I assume you are talking the hotel not the resort spa.
I would pass on it. I checked it out nothing special I though.

No the Resort which IMHO is a much better place to stay!, Actually I was a little wrong here, just looked up there old Email from last year and I paid 1,200 Baht for a superior but they want 1,800 now!

Oh the resort? Well that is not the same. I thought the hotel well was not much to write home about. The resort looked much better but still that is a big price increase.

Not a fan of the Hotel, (I must admit I have not stayed there only had a look). The Resort rooms are very good, place is GF, very clean, nice Pool and has a quiet location. The Girls all seem to like it.  It is a bit better environment (again, IMHO) than the Hotel! It also has a secure place to park the Ducati after a very long ride there!

I think you would get a better rate if you stayed at the hotel first for a couple days and then inquired about the resort. You don't have to get the inclusive breakfast that the internet makes you get, which will knock off a couple hundred baht. They actually approached me about switching to the resort while I was staying at the hotel last time (but this was in the low season).
I stayed at the resort last year for 1000 baht/night w/no breakfast (they offered the breakfast for an extra 200 baht/night but I declined it) . Looking at the website right now and it's quoting 1300 baht/night w/breakfast so I don't see a big difference in price (at least for us low season visitors).
