I am reminded of a session at Naree's on Soi 4, some 5 years back, during which I received a vigorous TTM administered by a big strong 30 something woman who pummeled and pounded with her thick fingers, squeezed and wrenched with her great palms and left me groaning and grunting towards the end when she finally flipped me clean off the bed, tossed me in the air and then bent my back over her knees, which was when I realised that it was she who was finally lying on the bed with her knees drawn up and me draped over them almost half way up to the ceiling. Can't imagine where they draw such great strength from.

Best traditional massage, facilities, reasonable price and the few times I have gone the massage lady was 40+ (but not all are). No "extras". Multiple locations. Air-con, free tea, slippers and change of dress, nice decor and music. A reasonable choice.

If you want strong massage, clean, look for a place where a lot of Japanese women go. Usually, the places that cater to Japanese clients are very very clean (and offer strong massage).
Obviously, that excludes soi 24/1 LOL

whats the big deal;)
i cant believe its three years ago I started this thread. I still miss my 'old lady masseuse' Mon, she was great and what a hj finish. older is often better where massage is concerned`.
