Bros'!
I'm thinking now is the chance to seriously go for that elusive bkk gsm,gprs,umts contract or permanent job, but I may need a bit of help from some of the guys on here - anyone working those fields - ericsson, motorola, nokia, ais, dtac, true (orange) or some such consultant firms etc.?

should I take as a sign noone realy want to fix me up perhaps...
or that telecom engineers are few & far between on here

Telecom is a mate of mine's background, he made a fortune working for Saudi Aramco
then another mint working at the construction of the Shell refinery in Map Dta Phut
later installed the trunked radio system at General Motors
but hasn't worked for the big companies in years, retired, and there's not much work (for expats)

OR it could be that there are no jobs in the LOS for expat telco engineers.
I used to work there but am now stuck in Bangla-f***en-desh.
