I have been going to LOS since 1996 and on my last trip on 5/2001 I gave BDSM a try at CJ for the first time. I have not been the same since. I was the most physically and psychologically incredible experience I have ever had in my life. Dungeon master and his wife and awesome host, the food is 5 star and home-cooked, the dommes are all 10's and safe, sensous, and fun, and the experiece is just out of this world. The long sessions are wonderful. As far as sex goes, well, BDSM sex is not quite the same as what we think of as sex, but you will not leave with blue balls (hee hee hee, if only you knew what I meant) and will be very happy. WARNING: After CJ, bar girls may lose their appeal to you. I'm going back in May and CJ is on my list again. Expensive??? Yea, for me it was, but for something once or twice a year it was worth it. It was worth about one year of stress mgt. therapy. Interesting note: It seems that most folks that like BDSM, esp the submissive ones tend to be well-educated and in a posittion of power and responsibility. Don, Yuphah, Wed, and gang, keep it up!!!!

How is the submission play on this play. I spent five years in this lifestyle as Dom. I don't practice anymore because it lost the charm for me. Done everything out there in that lifestyle but time to time I do participate on bdsm session with old buddies here in california. Is this place also has subs or just all domme?

The short answer is that we don't cater to (male) Doms at all.
The slightly longer answer is that we have one switch but we are very picky about who plays with her on the bottom.
When we started we expected the clientele to be a mix of Tops and bottoms. But we quickly discovered that 99.9% of the people who showed up are male subs, period. So, we recruited and trained Female Dominants to service them. Why recruit and train female subs when there is a negligible demand for them?
We get a TINY numbr of requests for female subs, and of the requests we do get, 90% sound clueless to us. Would you put a pro sub with a clueless Dom? I wouldn't.
My personal theory is that bona fide male Doms -- and I know many of them -- have no problem recruiting their own female subs. I know male Doms who certainly have had no such problems in Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, and the P.I., and Indonesia. That being the case, why would they need to P4P with pro subs? In fact they seem to make it a matter of pride never to do so. Anyway, I don't advane this point of view as fact, just as my own working hypothesis.
No reflection on you, sandiegon, is intended. But you asked, and I am answering. I'm the guy who founded CJ and owns CJ so who else should you get an answer from? Our friend bruce certainly never had a session here as a Top, so how could he answer?

But at the risk of you sneering at me for my dilletantism, what about those of us who just want to dabble at being a top just for a bit of kink? (You know desensitized and jaded folk like me.). Not my answer. There certainly are people such as you describe, but, mostly we don't cater to them. For one thing, there are issues of safety and security for the female subs. For another thing, for every inquiry we get of the sort you are talking about, we get about 1000 from guys who are totally submissive, and out of that we have maybe 50-100 who eventually show up.
So, it is easy to see that if we were to train and recruit female subs they's be Maytag repairmen, so to speak.
The rapid retirement of "Mistress Gaow" whose website made it abundantly clear that she was mostly a sub, and a three-holer sub to boot -- may reflect the mistake in the client demographic she made. I dunno, we had no contact with her, so I can onloy guess why the quick fold of her website. (I mean no disrespect, and am not trying to ignite a flame.)

I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to respond and I apologise for not realising that you would be so kind as to indulge my interest. (I thought you were too "opinuated". BTW I so want to distinguish myself from the cretinous JJ that I have to tell you that I just noticed my improper use of "their" as opposed to "they're"- I'm not ilitret - onist!)
Once again I can't fault your reasoning and so I say to you exactly what you don't need to hear from me; You've got it sussed and I commend you for knowing what you are doing,(apparently) doing it well and doing well at it.
(I must have been one of the last people to try to hook up with Gaow, I sent an Email a day or 2 before the announcement of her retirement- I'm still trying to deal with the disappointment.)
