Just got back to Shanghai, finally moved back here after a boring year in Australia. I arrived about 9pm monday so decided to lay low and wait till tuesday to go out. Went out at about 9 pm tuesday and met an old friend in Windows Too, a favourite place of mine, good cheap drinks (10 yuan) and Rocky, the bartender is a good old friend who was very pleased to see me.
Played some pool, had about 15 or 16 Rum+coke's, watched my friend basically pass out before he got in a cab to go home. This was when I decided i'd head to Mao ming lu to check out the scene. Ahh so many memories from that place.
Being my first time out in Asia for 6 months and the level of alcohol in me I didin't really go into any clubs on Mao Ming Lu, I just walked down the road once before I spotted the cutest young lady in a short skirt who was giving me the eye. Within seconds we were negotiating price. I haden't had a chance to get much money exchanged yet so I only had about 160 RMB left at this point so I told her i'd give her 50 AUD and she agreed. but it turned out that she thought I said 50 Euro, because in Mandarin AUD is "ao yuan" and Euro is "ou yuan" so after some light arguing in bed later that night (she thought my Australian $50 was fake because she'd never seen such strange colourful plastic money before and she wanted Euro's so I thru in another 60 RMB and that satisfied her...
Anyway when we got home, went to bed, she didin't want to take a shower, so I didn't mind I just wanted to jump into bed with her asap. And if anyone is worried that the p4p scene in shanghai is dead at the moment due to crack downs or whatever, its a myth because thisn was a tuesday night and there were hot young ladies all over mao ming lu and windows.
Can't wait for the 15th of December---Phuket here I come

I will be staying in Pudong area at the Intercontinental - is this any good for fun.
Do you know if they have massage with special service? Or any other place that does?

Hi, I'm not too familiar with the Pu Dong area, i've really only been there about 6 times in the 7 years that i've lived in Shanghai, if the intercontinental is anything like any other hotel in Shanghai you'll be able to get a massage for sure, just not too sure whether or not extras will be available.
There are some big clubs in Pu Dong where u would be able to pick up some freelancers, i'm not too sure of the addresses or anything tho. try http://www.thatsshanghai.com there should be a few pu dong clubs listed there.
IMO there's a lot more fun t be had in Pu Xi.
Let me know if u want some more info about that side of things

As far as finding girls the easiest two places in Pu Xi are Zhu Lu Lu and Mao Ming Nan Lu. These are both streets full of bars on either side of the road. Friday and Saturday nights are the ebst as there are girls everywhere. You're better off to get there rather early (before 10pm) as the choice is much better then, later on in the night there's usually only older not so attractive girls available. I guess this goes for anywhere...
Just tell the taxi driver "Mao Ming Nan Lu" or "Zhu Lu Lu" I prefer Mao ming because its a little bigger and more choice.
From Pu dong it shouldn't take much over half an hour by cab to get there or you can take the Metro (subway) and get off at Chang Shu Lu or the stop before it (i cant remember I havent taked the metro in months)
