Several weeks ago, my missus left her phone in a taxi. When she realised theis, she called the number, a guy answered, the taxi driver, he brought the phone back to her at home not much later.
A bus driver a few days ago was picking us up at home to go up-country. My son drove his little car out while we were waiting to see him. There were a few screws missing from some side panel collision damage. The bus driver pulled out his tool box and some screws and put it all back together.
Sanook, you need to settle down and realise that they type of people you are mixing with are not the pillars of society. Take it for what it is, ignore all the sh_t and have a good time, if sh_t happens, sh_t happens.
I still bitch about this place plenty, there are plenty of stoopid tree franchisees here in this country, but so what, it goes either over my head or in one ear and out the other. You cannot change a country, so stop giving yourself a stress attack and enjoy disneyland.
But the absolute best advice I can offer you, get the fcuk out of AW, that sh_t hole and that sh_tty attitude is not doing you any good. There are so many more places to hang, stop treating this place like your regualr watering hole, leave it, do not go back. Do you really think your 'friends' n there will help you at the end of the day. wake up.

You are right. Thanks for the good advice. For the last few nights I've been going over to Soi Cowboy and, heaven forbid, Patpong. Between the 3, Soi Cowboy, Patpong, and NEP, I would say the girls at Patpong are, on average, the best looking. I've been comparing my experience with the girls I've picked up in Patpong with the ones from the AngelWitch, and the level of service (quality of sex) from the girls from Patpong is FAR surperior to ANY girl I've bar fined out of the AngelWitch.

believe it or not, that 'Karma, my ass' attitude is, why you have incidents happening to YOU.
I bought a ring for my TGF for New Years eve in a shopping mall.
I went to the ATM to get extra cash. Took ONLY the money and left the wallet with credit card on top of the ATM, ATM card inside the ATM!!
 (love does NOT improve eyesight!)
I walked to the jewelry and only after 15 min, when I wanted to pay, acknowledged my loss, ran back to the ATM...everything had gone...just looking aroung, I guy walked up to me and gave me back my valuables. The guy was selling belts for 50-200THB opposite the heavily frequented ATM. Gave him 1k, which he didn't want to accept first!
BTW you seem to be a very bittered,frustrated person and the place you are staying at/country must be a very very miserable one!
You pay a lot of money to fly to a toilet full of sick and perverted people that are inherently dishonest, just to f_ck some constantly lying thiefs 
I agree, what happened to you in AW really s_cks, but your generalization of Thailand s_cks even more!

I have been incredibly lucky in my sojourns - maybe because I only go ST and MP's/Specialty Bars and if I do take a BG home - I make sure to pick one that doesn't speak any English - eliminates the issues of the sick cow - and so on - read Harry Parrasites Thread 
Yeah - I know theres nothing like waking up cuddling a cute Thai girl - blah -blah blah. I am not a morning person.
Maybe my approach is to mechanical - but I treat the girls with great respect - we have great ST sex - I send them home in a cab and then start the journey all over again.
Am I missing something ?
No my heart is not made of coal - can be very romantic - just not in BKK - unless your idea of a romantic movie is deep throat
