Soi 33 last night looked into "Lips Bar" down on the right past Livingstones. Live band doing well and a half full bar with pool upstairs. Seemed like a nice place a few gals around not pushy and very 33 like. Was tired so did not stay would go again they did try to pad the bill so watch that. Shame as that was the only down side but a down side that sticks in the memory.

Hmmm... that's very unfortunate. I bought a whole bunch of drinks that night and I was sure they didn't pad mine. I would have noticed it since I wasn't drinking any alcohol.

We would (wrongly) expect the "better" bars located in Soi 33 not to rely on the same tricks used in beer bars and gogo's but no....they will try to cheat customers anytime if they feel they have a chance to get away with it.
Funny that in 10 years coming to Thailand the unique time when some drug was added to my drink was also in Soi 33 (in Demonia)

Especially, when the bar doesn't have a good system in place. Many bars now (e.g. King's Corner in Patpong), require you to sign on the bill for every time you order your drinks. This way, you can make sure that each bill is yours before you ask them to check the bill.

Survey is the only bar that has tried to pad my bill in soi 33. Now that Renoir is closed, there is one less really fun bar on soi 33. Something else is opening in its place but from what I hear it is going to be a pub, or something equally boring. The Office is probably the best bar, though finding individuals in various bars is still worthwhile. I think most of them are desperate for money so you can get away with cheap antis like getting your cock out in the bar. Wall Street for one. When the boss is away, the girls will do anything. My mate had a 3some upstairs, with a couple of the girls, though they did bar fine themselves.

I tried 6 month ago and last week....but must say I saw at least two nice tall young girls in this bar that are worth considering. I was also surprised that barfine is 700 in this bar (and not 1500 like in some other bars in Soi 33)
