I was in GLOW one night early In April with RTB and BK. Definitely a pleasant place, not crowded but with interesting people. I'd been there before with my TG and she had asked to go again. I also encountered the guy with the Idaho voBKa. He invited me to a huge shot - very smooth stuff!

So, I don't post much but, I have to say since I have been back in BKK, nearly every night back has been a good one at GLOW. Good people, music, and drinks (except it seems my bottle becoming empty after about 24 hrs, but then maybe it is my buddy's & my insatiable desire for Bacardi/coke but it is quickly/easily replaced with homage to the talented mixologists behind the bar!)
#2 observation: Music is very good. Not too loud, definately reads the crowd. No complaints here. Should be a good Songkron/Tiesto Overflow for thursday.

After Bangkok Runner intoxicated me to an inch of my life last Monday, it took the balls of a Tyrannosaurus Rex to walk back into Glow last night and pretend nothing had happened. Luckily I am endowed with the aforementioned genital specimens and happily strolled in.
Now, I have been going to Glow since it opened and can honestly say that the vibe in the joint has been increasing exponentially.
There are of course the usual suspects:
- Baquawn, slouched in front of his ever present bottle of Bacardi, constantly on the prowl for younger, sweeter pussy.
- bangkok runner, checking out how many shots of the finest voBKa he can pour in his customers before they turn into mush and pass out.
- Hypershade, proclaiming the superior quality of Planters rum to everyone who wants to hear it (most evenings I am talking to myself) and occasionally proudly drinking extremely gay coctails.
- Shaun and Ron, performing bottle acrobatics with those strangely enlarged pupils of theirs.
But recently and with increasing regularity, the place has been generously filling up with eye pleasing “outsiders”, the dance floor has been jiving, the beats are getting fatter, the DJ’s more famous, the nights even more notorious. Moments of soul-piercing decadence are always just a whiff away and I for one am welcoming every single one of them.
The message should be loud and clear: get your ass to Glow.
