I can SERIOUSLY say that when I lived in LOS that the first thing I desired when going home to the US on vacation was "white cheese" dip!!!! 
It was always the small things that I missed most

Been there a couple of times. Nice building, but infested with mosquitos. Service is friendly but rather inefficient. Food is mediocre at best. If this is the best Mexican food in Bangkok it's time to put people out of their misery and just ban all Mexican restaurants from the capital.

... yes, RTB... La Monita... quite a different offer than Los Cabos... and well worth the trip... will post a review separately on its own thread.
... and jonstroud2001... c'mon... don't you really think "mediocre at best" is a bit of a harsh indictment?... except perhaps for elite culinary purists without a forgiving taste bud on their palattes... Mexican is peasant food, not Le Cordon Bleu.

... peasant food, my man, peasant food... a level of cuisine offering comfort to bazillions of people, whether they've made it big and moved uptown from the 'barrios', or still grind out a subsistence hauling trash.
... all cuisines feature aroma, texture, taste, colors, presentation, even history... but, the peasant food level of these cuisines touches its fans as fine dining cannot... emotionally.
