BK, why not just create a CW forum for Daffy like you did for Dirty. Daffy can visit/view the whole forum but only post in Daffy's Forum and maybe in Tech.

I think filtering is not necessary. Just a PM from BK to Daffy to ask him to adhere to limits should suffice.
Remember, control starts at the top.

Just configure tezza, CalEden, and EPC's filter in the same manner, making sure to "protect" them from having to suffer my terrible posts - I can assure you that the forum will improve once they can't see anymore.
Or just configure it so no one can see of their garbage, and you'll most likely see an even greater improvement.

This forums failure in recent years has more to do with elitist attitudes, than individuals.
As recently highlighted by the attacks on Massage slave....( a newbie)
Big egos and critical comment.
But what highlights success here is desire to impart knowledge...
So guys like MS are invaluable.
Even this thread provokes comments as its based in members desire to have freedoms from annoying put downs.
Infact, what's needed is a mix of debate, humor, erotic FR s and opportunity to impart knowledge.
The latter being the single biggest reason for slower traffic....knowledge.
Unlike other forums that house very vocal green newbies...this is by far the most knowledgable forum....
And that's not opinion it's fact....
Many members here have ten or twenty years of experience in LOS.
Some have lived there, or are married to Thais or continue living there.
Some have plans to write books....some here have already done so.
The natural cycle for discussion passes with each year.
What's a pity about this threads members departure was his travel knowledge within Thailand...
Like.myself he travelled within Thailand a lot and so had knowledge to impart.
Back in 2001-2007 the forums hey days....I pads and other knowledge gadgets didn't exist...so here was important moreso.
Bangkok Tonight will rise again as men flock to Asia in bigger numbers...
And they will....
In Australia the figures are rising fast......( as an example)
If I were running this forum I would heavily promote newbie questions...
That brings out people's ability to impart knowledge.
Allow and encourage field reports....
Plan a pool comp...
Some RT s
The best thing to gel the forum is common ground....
Have expats write about their experiences living there.
Promote the positives.
It's our forum guys....
We can bitch and die a slow death....
Or boot the site up.....
People here on this thread have shown a willingness to contribute....
If only they did so more......
One simple rule could be....don't get personal...
Live and let live.....and let it be a wide diverse forum...with a galaxy of opinion....
Certainly, we have the opportunity to not only recover here....
If we rise again to greatness its because we believe we can.
