My report is like fresh from the oven. There is a spa I know because I saw it  and I also saw staff dressed in spa couture. I would gladly have written a review if I had used the spa but being with a group my tail was firmly tucked in. I did walk around and saw that it was functional. That link I provided above was mentioned on their glass panel. Needless to add, of course, this is a top-end spa -- no shenanigans.

Spa update, it is indeed operational so went to the left side out of the AP and told it only has sleeping cabins (with showers) and the massage was down the other end. So went to check out the massage and it started with 15min foot massage I think the longest they did was 45 mins but no oily on a table all dressed or partially dressed. To be honest it looked like a dump and I could not see any of the massage ladies. Was also told there was a 2 hour wait so went for the sleep cabin instead. The cabins are reasonably priced but do not expect a Yotel or anything near that standard; a room, bed with adjoining shower with toilet. There are comp newspapers and tea etc. IMHO not worth the effort next time I will re-route or try the AP Hotel that was advertised but I did not take advantage of. This so called Spa is stretching the definition of the word Spa only use if not other alternative is available. But thanks to all for the input.

now I understand what you meant.
after checking the website I realize that the while the lounges run by this company in the departure area do not have any spa's but the ones in the arrival section seem to have them.
however I don't understand the psychology. I would have thought that a person arriving at an airport would be eager to leave the airport and get to his hotel or final destination and not linger around at the airport. it is at the departure lounges that one has the time and inclination to lounge around. But I must say that I am not such a frequent traveler as some of you and may have something to learn.
