If you read the posts you will find that this girl had a sponsor who bought her an IPhone (don't believe she has an IPad) and gave her money for her daughter.
He seems to have moved on so that source of funding has dried up. I know from talking to her that business at the shop is slow, somedays only a single customer in a day on which she gets 100 baht.
Tips are what make the difference and here some girls do specials and some do not. Those that do and have a regular customer base are ok those that don't will definitely be struggling when business is slow as it seems to be at the moment. She could sell her bits and pieces and continue where she is till business picks up or move to another busier shop.
The problem with helping her is that it tends to become something of an ongoing arrangment which can be hard to get out of if as likely her circumstances continue to be financially challenging.
Difficult to know what to do but you seem to have a soft spot for her and want to help so why not but my advise would be don't over do it and don't commit to regular remittences.
5000 baht is a lot of money for these girls and can look after her daughter for months in the village she lives in.

Apparently so.
She now has a regular customer staying at a nearby hotel who books her for several hours each day so I don't believe she is short of cash.

After an absence I revisited Soi7/1. Dr. BJ now has three outfits there, the latest called Budget Bangers where for 1000 baht you get FS. Looking at the "talent", sorry not if they were paying me 1000 baht but no doubt it will have a following. After all with a skinful they can all look good.
Anyway I went on to Tarntip and a session with Jum. I had to make a booking and return later. Apparently she is now by far the most popular girl on staff. While as a generalisation what princeinnocent says may be true I know this girl and I believe while she does what she has to to get by she does not spin hard luck stories to get money. Rereading the above quote from terryg would seem to confirm this.
It's true she seems to have had sponsors but if some old geezer takes a liking to her it's not really the same thing.
Business is slow for all the girls at Tarntip at the moment more so because of the increased number on staff, so if somebody asks how she is doing and she tells him "not busy maybe I have to go other shop to make money" it could be just that she's simply telling the truth.
