How abouth the center point Silom. Has anyone stayed here? Are the rooms really up to date? dvd,vcr, stereo,plasma tvs, Etc? How about the room itself? Are they clean? Please any inforation will be appreciated.

I stayed in both a 1 br and a 2br. Very clean and nice with all the things you asked about except plasma tv.

centerpointe soi 10 has just finished renovations. It should be available for good price. I have been living at centerpointe wireless road for the last 3 years. as I have 2 more years left in bangkok, I am debating to move. My centerpointe contact is trying to convince me to move to centerpointe soi 10.
while I consider this, I have sent a few people there to stay, and give me their opinion and feedback. My contact got them a very good rate.

Hello guys,
Just back from bkk. Stayed at the center point silom 2 bedroom apt. shared the place with a friend and held a party with 4-6 girls every single nite. I should say very girl friendly, but what is it with the extra towel charge? is that normal? they charged us 50 bht extra per towel per day.

Thanks for your report in Centre Point Silom, Bro Bokon.
I am glad that commencement of renovation work in Centre Point Silom had changed from Sept 06 to March 07, according to http://www.asiatravel.com. It gives me a chance to stay there again for at least a couple of nights near the end of the year.
This place is very good -- very spacious room, helpful staff and reasonably priced. Just a bit far from the Suk.
Nobody had asked me to pay for extra towel when I stayed there few months ago. Thanks again Bokon.

Personally, I am very partial to Centre Point Petchburi - mostly because it has great deals, and specifically as I prefer to stay outside of the usual Farang Ghetto locations. It meets both of those requirements, along with excellent service for the the most part.
