I stopped in there in November, it was pretty much the same as always. Tons of FLers, some cute, some not, some fat, some not. 
Amazonia is one block down the street and worth a look too, especially after 8 or 9pm.

I will add a few comments and let CG update as he sees fit. I am most comfortable in Burgos area and go there often. I have a regular these days but have spent time with quite a few. Bar fine varies depending upon time of day, how many drinks you buy and how often you go to club but will be between 1500-3000 pesos. Quite high compared to Thailand. The girls will expect 3000 for long time. I don't do ST in Manila so I don't know the price. These are recent prices and have been about the same for a long time. Girls tend to speak better english, become familiar with you quickly and enjoy the lovemaking more in general than in LOS. No absolute rules, just general commments. I like both.

After 8pm & preferably before 10pm. A lot of Japanese come in and "shop" for multiples, in particular at Firehouse. Not uncommon to see a couple of Japanese take 10-15 Girls in one shopping spree! My best guess it is for some party action with a group of friends!
