Returned to Majestic Suites this year. A little disappointed.
I'd booked two months before and asked for a non-smoking room on Sukhumvit side.
I got a smoking room on NEP side. When I queried that, I was told that no room was available on Sukhumvit side.
I was moved to a non-smoker the next day. But still on NEP side! And I realized that the first room was Queen size, rather than the King size I'd requested!
I find it strange and rather rude that they did not try to inform me of the problem before I arrived. In fact, I had to point out the problem(s) to them.
So, a little peeved.
Later, I tried Dynasty Grande: much better.

The position of the hotel is great. Maybe what ever we pay is for the location than the rooms. Rooms are just about okey, breakfast is just about it. Staff helpful. Mejestic Grande is much better with rates being double.
